Harm, have you tried talking with your mother in law and explaining your frustration? I know I'd appreciate that if I did something that really upset my SIL. Perhaps she's hasn't a clue this would bother you.

Your guess is as good as mine....but the guys in Va have no issues to come to Boston....the Mother in Law is trying to please everyone.

I could see going there if there was some sort of family history there...a favorite park....or some silly thing like that...but it just doesn't fit the mold.

Any tickets?

I hope the lady got one. I'll ask Cpt Rick tomorrow.

Permagrin wrote in post #6157980 (external link)
are you all right?

Yeah I think I bruised my arm but other than that I'm good. I am just glad the airbag did not deploy. The lady's in the explore did. I can say the active head restraints in Santa Fe function properly.

tried, so she has gone one step further, and told my wife that it is a "surprise party for her dad - his 62nd bday"...before she realises it is hers. Sheesh...mothers are so stupid!!

The bizarre thing is, is that the brothers who i talk to on AIM constantly are like "hang on, nobody has talked to you yet about this?"...

I've told her that (a) i've booked stuff up, (b) it is impossible to fool someone pretty clever to go to binghampton, and (c) i made sure i had some disgust in my voice.

do you guys remember the Hyundai Hope on Wheels Photo I posted? The Santa Fe with all the hand prints.

Well I was sitting at the red light a little bit ago on my way to get some lunch. I am at a stop. The next thing I know is BOOM BOOM BOOM. The elderly lady in a ford windstar plows in the the middle aged lady in the ford explore that is STOPPED behind me and I smack a Sonata. Crushed the rear of the Santa Fa

HOLY CRAP! Glad you are okay!

Good point, Lisa.
It also may be that she has some sort of surprise in store for both of you? I have done that....

Contemplated it, but it would be impossible, at this moment in time, my wife is not happy at all with her youngest sister or her mother....she won't even answer the phone to them. If I told her what was going on, she will make plans to go somewhere else for the weekend...we're talking about a family that loves to hold grudges against one another....

Wife gets like that with her sisters....as a matter of fact, she is not speaking to her sister now that lives next door to us.

In typical guy fashion...I assumed since you were posting here that you were ok...;)...although you might feel a bit sore come tomorrow.

Any pictures of the damage?
