That is a beautiful flutterby, Jen. Great composition!

Thanks :D I'm finally pleased that I actually can take decent butterfly shots... I was getting quite the complex lately when all my butterflies were OOF....

Night all... We're out for the night. The club is holding an impromptu studio lighting seminar/shoot tomorrow early. One of our members got his boss to allow us to use his warehouse for the shoot. We're going to have all kinds of lighting gear on hand and those with some knowledge of the subject are going to teach.

Sounds like fun! I think I can make it if I start now :)

It's just one annoying storm....I can walk faster than it. I hope it doesn't ruin my party tomorrow (boating and such)

Marian is coming later with all her friends.
She is driving. The Yukon. With no adult supervision. On the highway. For a long distance.

I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.

Did she make it there? Did you?

Harm wrote in post #6157673 (external link)
How on earth do you convince someone to "go for a drive"...for 6 hrs...

If it was me, I'd just tell the wife: "Your stupid &*(#$ mother has this *(&!@# surprise party planned. I have to take you there. Act surprised... Now, get in the car!"

Darned Fords... Who'd drive a Ford...?

My brother. He won't drive anything but a Ford. Well, except for his Triumph motorcycle...

NOOO, only good spiders are dead ones. Besides, with three cats and a dog the house is full of critters. NO SPIDERS ALLOWED IN MY HOUSE!!!

Do I know you from somewhere?

I hate that ad campaign! Yes... I said hate. It's so stupid, I'm allowed to hate it...

How now brown cow?

Reminds me of a restaurant we used to go to in the mid 70's, back when I was a young'un growing up in Omaha, Nebraska. The restaurant was called the Brown Cow. Funny, though... I don't remember the food. I just remember the restaurant itself.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
