My eldest boy introduced Teresa and I to Rock Band last night. Boy is it addictive, and deadly serious as the following rant proves......

That's how you play video games now?!?

we just bought a nintendo wii yesterday and were shocked at the accouterments that went with it. Golf clubs, tennis rackets, guitars, dance pads...it's so weird.

Makes me miss the days I spent playing Asteroids in the local arcades. I spent a fortune in quarters back then. My brother spent an even bigger fortune... He once broke into my coin collection before a visit to the arcade. Some very valuable quarters were donated to the arcade that day.

I don't think that would even be legal here.

If there is even a hint that the kids could be uncomfortable here parents freak out and the media jumps all over it.

Oh dear.....

(To keep this photography related, some of these were taken with an EOS 1Ds MkIII L Glass and speedlight 580 and some with a Canon G9 using built in flash, can you spot the difference? )

:lol: These are great!! Teressa looks great as a rocker:)
I don't see which is which by glancing at them. It goes to show it is often the shooter that counts not the equipment.
So you just had a wig and giant gorilla head on hand?

Hi folks I slept finally.

Oh dear.....

I have never been into Computer Games, I don't own any sort of play-station and I have no games on any of my PCs or Macs.

LOL those are great. I love the Gorilla head!

Ooo. We want to get one of those. We want to get the Wii Fit board with it, too - there's a great looking skiing game that uses it now :D

I think that my order came today too, but with the crater we have in front of the house they just left a pickup notice. So, I should be able to get them tomorrow afternoon.

I hate when that happens. Good thing is that we live in a quiet neighbourhood and we know our postman quite well. He tends to leave packages behind the bush near our front door.
