I'm still working my way through the Labo(u)r Day CSI marathon on the Spike channel that my DVR saved (it's only 38% full now). While fast forwarding through the commercials, I've inadvertently seen a few. Some of those commercials were for a new TV show the Spike channel is promoting. The show is called Manswers.

I want to go on record as apologizing to every woman on earth for that crap. We aren't all like that.

Sheesh... I thought Jimmy Kimmel's "The Man Show" was bad.

Makes me miss the days I spent playing Asteroids in the local arcades. I spent a fortune in quarters back then. My brother spent an even bigger fortune... He once broke into my coin collection before a visit to the arcade. Some very valuable quarters were donated to the arcade that day.

Asteroids and pac man were lots of fun.

I "rolled over" more than one Asteroids machine. When you hit 100,000 points, the score went back to zero. Programmers weren't all that smart back then.

There was another game around that same time that I figured out how to beat. Right now, I can't think of the the name, though... In 1982, I was stationed on the USS Caron. That game was in one of the lounges and a fellow shipmate of mine had also figured it out. We decided to see just where that game "rolled over". We spent an entire weekend playing it on a single quarter, taking turns playing and sleeping. Somewhere in the third day we gave up and unplugged the thing... All I remember is that we were well beyond a million points.

The town I live in is about 60 miles northeast of L.A. ;)

And, no... I haven't seen that show, either.

We're out of hot chocolate tonight.

I've had to console myself with some Blair Athol. Ali took the remains of the chocolate for herself.

I feel really bad now, as I head off to bed with a steaming cup of Cadburys Hot Chocolate

You want to try the Aero drink, Neil. After extensive experimentation, it's the best.

Hmm. I think we've got some hot chocolate around. Now you've made me thirsty for that. Hmm A cup of that while watching the rest of 'Tin Man' on the Sci-Fi channel - sounds good to me...

I loved "the Tin man!" We bought it because we'd missed it on TV and the first part was so confusing that I almost stopped watching it but then I got into it and absolutely loved it.

Terri, you'd HATE it! Trust me on this.

We bought Tin Man not too long ago.
Had never heard of it before, but I saw it in the store, read the back, thought it sounded interesting, and I REALLY like a couple of the actors in it.

Love it! Great movie.

On a completely different note, I recently watched Pushing Tin. I wouldn't recommend it.

I hate when that happens. Good thing is that we live in a quiet neighbourhood and we know our postman quite well. He tends to leave packages behind the bush near our front door.

We have a neighbourhood cat that does the same thing.

I likes Chicks on Tramps. ;)
And some of the skits were pretty funny too. I had never heard of Manswers before.
And, good to see you are respective of the English way of spelling 'Labour', kudos to you. :D

Oh, and I remembered we had some 'squirty' cream too - that's topped off the hot chocolate nicely - now to watch the end of the film :D
