*wrinkle brow* What am I thinking now?
Well, I think I know, but if our knees bent the other way, how would we ride a bicycle?

She is SO focused on the ball, that she can't think of anything else. I threw the ball in a direction she wasn't expecting, and she ran into the tree. HARD. She bounced off it, fell on the ground and just cried. Geez. Stop my heart. She got up and couldn't walk, was limping bad. I went (ran) to her, felt her all over to see where she hurt, and while I was trying to see if she was seriously hurt, she limped over to the ball, picked it up and gave it to me. Then limped/ran like she was ready to catch it. ![]() I told her no, and that we were done playing. Geez. She's fine now, barely limping at all... but I think she's going to be sore tomorrow. HAHA silly pup! Thats some serious fixation she has for her ball Paula

The fact that he survived the surgery is huge, especially since it was more extensive than they thought. Now it's just how he'll heal (he has diabetes and heals poorly) but he's alive. That's so huge. Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. You are all the best! We're pulling for you... puddlepirate44 wrote in post #6275313 LOTRR: Beware The Sharp Pointy Thing
I love how he can speak Arnoldese... mtnphtgrphr wrote in post #6275631 I can't believe I am caught up..... I've had a ROUGH day.... I have 3 boys in my class who are between them a total of 8 boys..... The first boy, we knew was an issue, has been and has been refered for special services regarding his behavior.... at least HE doesn't hit me..... Ok so boy 2 moved into our room from a different room..... he closes his eyes says in English (and Spanish) I'm dead and lays down eyes closed not following directions or anything... SO him we just ignore his 'fits' and step over him and move on... doesn't seem to be like too much of an issue, he is given everything he wants when he wants it at home... but I can ignore Mr. 'I dead' Well today's child.... HE takes the cake... in the sum total of 4 hours... I was kicked more than 10 times, I was hit more than that.... and I was screamed at high decibel range..... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH this child is had to be removed (by me aka pick up and remove) from the block center... not once but twice because his fits involved throwing everything within arms reach.... aka thick wooden (SOLID) unit blocks.... THEN had to be peeled out from under TWO tables.... because he was CLIMBING every piece of furniture in the room and proceeded to JUMP over one piece of furniture and a child...... So this afternoon when I'm discussing this with his mother... SHE IS ALLOWING HIM TO REPEATEDLY HIT HER!!!!!!! OMG I'm fighting a LOSING freaking battle when a parent openly allows crap behavior like that. And then she has the unlitigated gall to say to me "Oh I was afraid he'd do that to you" and then proceeds to tell me that he has done this at all his previous child care centers.... Then she gives me the story of each of those centers that for various reasons (never his behavior mind you ) OMG I'm exhausted and so freaking frustrated that I want to bend this mother over my lap and wear her butt out for allowing her son to behave like this AND not telling me about it ahead of time!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!puddlepirate44 wrote in post #6275651 Sorry 'bout your long day, Jenn. Sounds like you need a few hours on the laz-e-chair. I've seen children behave like this before at the store. Kids hauling off and whacking their mom full in the face, closed fist and all, and the mom just shrugs it off. "Oh, he's a little stinker, isn't he? Hehehehe". I get a little stunned by that behavior. Too many parents are unwilling to discipline their children in public because they're afraid some do-gooder will report them to child protective services as an abuser. There are too many kids that know this and will push the limits. There are lots of kids that need a good slap up the side of the head like my dad used to do. John
