A couple off topic things:

Joshua is a FANTASTIC racquetball partner. Really. He rocks.

Marian has a job and school (which includes college classes and lots of homework) so we deleted her chores (and her allowance).
That means I have to do the dishes now.
I haven't done dishes in 2 years.

Sheesh. I can do the them, I just have to get back in the groove. I don't wanna.

Just wait until they move out. Then you realize that ALL the chores still need to be done. :(

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

CAT: Sorry 'bout your lurpy 18% dog.

 I'm pretty sure she's fine. She's still puppy enough to be a little bendable. But holy freakazoid she's missing a few important brain functions.

When you've re-learned, get over here. I have a few dishes that need some cleaning.

I have a dishwasher. But I'm hesitant to use it after it melted and deformed a few things.

Too many parents are unwilling to discipline their children in public because they're afraid some do-gooder will report them to child protective services as an abuser. There are too many kids that know this and will push the limits. There are lots of kids that need a good slap up the side of the head like my dad used to do.

I agree 100%!!! Although I never had much trouble with my kids acting out in public! I just had to give em "the look" and they behaved rather nicely!

Congrats on the racquetball star! I am sure he gets his skill from his mama :)

Ugh on dishes :-| With fewer and fewer kids at home, I am doing those more often myself.

Yeah... but there will be fewer chores. ;)

Just imagine.

No after school snacks.
No gym laundry.
No friends over for dinner.
No 'I don't like that so I'm making my own dinner (and dishes).
No use of the kids' bathroom= no cleaning.

:( :( :(

I don't want that to happen. Because then, there will be:

No kisses goodnight.
No racquetball partner.
No 'hey Mom, will you help me with...'.

Gaaaaa! I'm getting weepy. Stop me.

She's a baby. That's a given! ;)

Speaking of which... Kitteh has been mostly silent with only an occasional MRAWWW howl today. I think my baby is growing up! *sheds a tear*

Maybe I'll be able to get a full night's/day's sleep again before I die.

Three of my offspring are legal adults who don't live at home. I can stop them in their tracks with a strategic lifting of eyebrow :)

HAHA yeppers! I never did anything to them that would make them so scared of "the look". But it worked! Guess all the threats of what "could" happen was enough to put the fear into them.
