I really like the composition of it Raquel, and I like the purple hue in the sky, but it looks a bit odd on the hills. :D

That's not a windmill, (its a great picture) of a windpump :-)

They are commonly referred to as windmills around here to even though they are not really a mill, and used to be a common site on every farmstead, but are now rare due to the use of electric pumps now.

 I had to click it off after the first pair of boobies. Tevin hasn't left for school yet. And of course, he hears music like that and comes running to see what I'm looking at.

ARgggg sorry about that. I did not even notice them. These are clips form UK "Carry On" films that I thought never actually showed them :o

I lived in South Africa for a couple of years in the 80's and every farm had them, they are/were iconic.

Hi Robert :) hows the little man doing with school so far?

So far so good. I'm sure it'll change when half the year has gone by. He has already complained to me that he gets hot in church. They are required to wear P.E. shorts under their pants and a white undershirt so all they have to do is strip off the first layer of clothing when going to P.E. Evan is the type of person who gets hot fast and uncomfortable....he even kicks off sheets and blankets...all year....even in the winter.

I have only seen a couple other dogs do it, all my other dogs had their legs up under them when flat on their bellies and only stretched out when on their sides.

All three of our dogs lay with their legs out behind them like that... they look sooo goofy.

I so want this lens! Just beautiful shots!

Thank you, I haven't done much with it, but I will be when it gets cooler out.

Us Merkins are lazy folk, though. For us, that's a windmill too. I'd never even heard the word windpump until this morning.

I have never heard of a windpump either before now. Always just called em windmills. Makes sense though.

I too had to close it after seeing boobies, for shame Neil. :p
To early in the day for an old guy like me. :D

I used to love watching all the "Carry On" movies here on CBC, they were quite funny.
