Somehow I doubt his definition of the word winter matches what you see in your Canuck dictionary...

I would imagine the definition differs slightly. :p

Apparently in Canada it is considered to be a bit chilly when your spit freezes before it hits the ground :-)

Yep, this is about the time we take of our short pants and wear long sleeved shirts. When it freezes on your lip, we put coats on.

Actually, now that we have had so much immigration from warmer climates it is funny to see winter coats being worn by some of these folks, while the long time Canucks are still in t-shirts.

There is a joke here somewhere. But I can't find it because my brain isn't firing correctly this morning.

That's from breathing all those dragon fumes on your flight last night. ;)

Ggggggggggaaaaaaa...PAULA, I forgot to comment on your beautiful roses earlier, you did a nice job on them.

So I take it nobody liked my windmill?

Wierd, I didn't see it either during catch-up, every now and again a picture doesn't load. Usually I know due to a comment from the poster so I hit refresh. Yours, not having a comment, slipped right on by.

That said, it is a nice landscape shot, sky color is a bit off, but I like it.

And we call them windmills, windpump must be that other English language.;)

It's not as 'perfect for photographers' as I was hoping it would be. I don't mind it, and once I got used to it, I can PP ok.

My solution to the problem though is to not blow out any highlights anymore.

Then I'm in deep doo doo. Actually Curt did say he wants to look at the options after all. Once he looked at the total price again. Think we might be looking at a Studio 17 if we decide find the True Life isn't what we want. Only the Studio and this one have 17" screens, which we most definetly want. And the Studio doesn't have the True Life option. I hate shopping for this technical stuff, I'm glad he is going to take a look after all.

And I just noticed that Becky was up later then me, and up before me. I feel so lazy.

thomascanty wrote in post #6129510 (external link)
I noticed that, too. I got to work, checked the thread, and there were new posts from her. Shocked me, I tell ya...

:lol::lol: Good, I like to throw you all off guard now and again and shake things up a bit.;):p

However, I'm generally up before Cat.

I was looking for a Lake Tahoe shot for TPBM, and ended up going into LR to look for it. I realized I have TONS of shots from that trip that I haven't even looked at yet.

If they are all like the one you posted you better get busy and process the rest.

Here is your shot with the magenta reduced. Couldn't get it all out, but you can see a difference. Original first, edit second.

Crissa, maybe you are getting caffeine headaches....or withdrawals. I've had the headaches before, cut back on the soda intake and at the same time only drink caffeine free ones. However, the cappuccino's and Starbucks don't help the cause much.

I am trying to free myself from caffeine and diet soda Bobert, I was doing fine till today and am not sure why. Perhaps work and added stress. I used to live on diet soda, first thing I drank in the morning and much of what I consumed during the day. I know it is terribly bad for me so I am cutting it out.
