These are great shots, but I don't get it. How can so many China shots be posted with no people in them? I mean, 1.3 Billion in the size of the US, you'd think they'd be standing on each others shoulders.

Thanks....LOL, these are in a fairly small city about 100km southwest of Shanghai. It is just one of those laid back towns (I've only found a few:) ) but this is one of them. Also, these were shot in the morning at about 7:30....By 9 it's moving

Here's a couple more..The first one is a very typical corner breakfast cart serving won ton soup to the masses;)

HAHA, the little guy on the right is getting spoonfed by gramma. Looks like any family anywhere. :)

Honestly, they are just like any other family anywhere, seems mostly only the Governments are different:)

I use to think that myself. Now, they may go by different names, but they are all the same.

Absolute lovely! Great B&W conversions :) Did you add the grain in #4? If so I would love to see it without for comparison.

My hubby's Chinese and I can't wait until we can finally take a long enough vacation to go to China. These 1 week mini breaks he can take now are just not good enough.

Btw, the pic of your wife is really special, she's beautiful :)

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Dazzlebea, yeah, I added the noise, I'll try to find the original...The wife...yes..I'm a very lucky guy:o and...... for sure just 1 week in China would be a shame and maybe just a waste. I went for just 12 days once and even that felt too quick.
