The widest lens I have is the kit 18-55mm and it doesn't seem quite wide enough at times. I'm considering buying something like a Tokina 12-24mm. Is the extra few mm worth it? What am I missing? Can I see some samples of what you guys have done with UWA lenses & airplanes please?

Old pic that I edited just for you ;)
I know the shots aren't that great, but it shows what a good UWA can do.
Please excuse the bad job cloning out the raindrops, I didn't really care :p

Very nice pictures everyone. It's nice to see what can be done with different lens/body combos. Anyone have a picture really close to the nose that still goes wingtip to wingtip? Kinda like the C17 pics above, just REALLY close to the nose.

Thanks!
