I figured having 15 people with L lenses standing on the sideline would really freak the other team out. :)

We sure scared the humming birds at Dwight's.

This meet looks promising and early/mid October looks OK right now.

OK, updates from the social secretary. The first weekend is not OK and the last weekend is OK for me but Madaleine has a seminar.

Well damn! Another one and I am gone. Just make sure you keep them going after Feb. I will be shooting with you all in spirit. I have found there isnt a whole hell of a lot to shoot here except sand, sand, brown buildings, and sand.

We will throw a special one where ever you want when you get home. We'll make it extra special to make up for the ones you missed. :D

Stay safe and THANK-YOU for all you are doing for us!!!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Look, it's so cold it's way under -40! ;)

Keep up the good work and be safe!

Well, October is starting to fill up. Can we fix the weekend at either 11/12 or 18/19? Either one is OK for me. My Social Secretary is pressuring me for a firm date.

OK, lets set it at the weekend of 10th, 11th, 12th.

My social secretary says we'll make sure its oodles of fun. :)

I'll come up with a list of stuff to do shortly, and we can figure out what folks would most rather do.

A three day event? I gotta figure out if it would be cheaper to get a hotel/motel, or just pay for the gas.
You're gonna make me think?

I'm a little less than a 90 min drive from Sac.

Edit:
Okay, at the current gas prices, it's about $130 in gas for my F-150 for all three days. More if everyone want's me to drag my boat up there to cruise the Sacramento River (I wouldn't do this every day. Sorry)

It's about $65 for all three days in my Camry.

Some people hunt with a gun. I use a Canon.

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

Not necessarily a 3 day event, more just giving people choices.

I figured we'd do most stuff on Saturday, but folks coming from a ways away may want to get here friday, and leave sunday. We can plan what to do based around who's here when, I just wanted to give choices and make it as easy as possible on people.

Dude...when you get back we have to have lunch or whatever...maybe plan a nice safe visit to go shooting stuff that, well, typically doesn't shoot back!! ;)

Stay safe, and seriously if there are things you might need drop a note and we'll see what can be done to help get ya some goodies and send a care package or twenty to share with everyone. :D

I am not sure if we can fit this one in...BUT...we can certainly try. It's sort of a bizzy time biddness wise and hard to get away. But that sure is a beautiful time up in the area! Plus there are LOTS of ducks and such to shoot, with all manner of devices...and that is just a short drive north of Sac...
