While on holiday in Japan, I needed a tripod, so picked up a Manfrotto 190XPROB and a 482RC2 ball head. I also have a manfrotto modo at home which is more portable, a gorillapod SLR Zoom and a slik monopod with some random tilt head on it.

Naturally I'd like to be able to leave one plate on the camera and be able to use it across any of my supports. Ideally that will be the RC2 that came with the manfrotto ballhead.

So.. Can you get something that will fit to the top of

1) Gorillapod SLR Zoom (has a 3/8" thread)
2) manfrotto modo
3) Slik monopod (I think has a 3/8" thread)

that will let me use my RC2 plate? I'm thinking that for the gorillapod just a simple plate, light and simple. Then for the monopod possibly a tilt head, and I have no idea for the modo as its fairly integrated so might not be possible.

suggestions? BTW I'm in the UK if anyone wants to post helpful links to stores :)

A manfrotto quick release adapter plate would work but might be a bit big for the gorillapod

BTW, should I get a spare release plate for any lenses with tripod collars, and leave those attached to save time?
