Night spider shots

Over the past couple of weeks I have been observing the spiders in my back yard that only come out at night. Last night I decided it was time to try to document them.

With my 20D, 100mm Macro, 580exII all tripod mounted, I headed out into the darkness of my yard.

With the help of a flash light I was able to manually focus and get the following shots.

Each of these spiders was about the size of a US quarter.
