First Bald Eagle in flight

This was been a good week for me with Bald Eagles. Been seeing two off and on all week. I think they are trying to nest. Maybe they have all ready.

It is awful early for nesting activity but you may want to keep a Eye out!!!

Try some + exposure compensation to pull some detail out of the darks on the Eagle. The BG is going to suffer and maybe the whites of the bird.

I always have difficulty on in-flights with Eagles getting wing detail.

Lucky you and I hope they nest in the area...and I agree with Gary, I think it's too early for them to start thinking about nesting....I was told around November or so is when they start working on the old nest getting it ready for the next season.

Thanks Duane N, It was cloudly and light rain. I was so excited with this Bald Eagle that I didn`t think about anything but getting it in the frame.

I`ll try to remember your tip. Got a lot to learn still.
