Hi folks! I just purchased a 3 stop reverse ND from Singh Ray. I've seen some images on the web where it can be useful. I did read that it would be good for sunrise and sunset but, if anybody has any experience with this filter, I would like to hear some feedback about it. Thanks!

Neat filter, I'd never actually heard of it before. I'll be watching this thread with interest....

I called them today to make sure if this filter would fit my Lee holder and it does. I also verified what Singh Ray recommends and the 3 stop is what they suggest.

I just received my Singh Ray grad in the mail today. It takes them a while for them to make it when ordered and the way it's packaged is really done well. Very eager to try this when I get the chance!

I don't have one, but know what it does. It darkens the sun more than the sky above it so the lighting is more even. If you use a regular GND on a sunset the sky will be too dark.

Hi! I finally went out to test the Singh Ray Reverse GND and I've got to say that I'm really pleased with the results. If anyone's looking to get this filter, I would highly recommend it! :):D

Thanks Derek! It was definitely tricky for me using this filter. I wasn't sure where to place it . :)

Yes, thanks for posting the results Julian. Nice shot. It looks like just the ticket for sunset/sunrise shots. I didn't know they made them in 4X6 size now. It used to be just cokin P size when they first came out.

Thanks! Singh Ray does make this in 4X6 and I called to make sure it would work. :)

Hehe! I've been dying to try this filter when I got it but, it was just when! :) Thanks for your patience tho. :)

I think you can customize the filter if you request it. I'm just not sure of the cost but, I know they do take special orders on custom sizes and densities. Give them a call! :)
