As Janes is finishing up his last trip of the season mine ends tomorrow too! I've been in Florida shooting the Gulf Coast League (rookie ball) and the Florida State League (High A). I figured it would be super hot down here but the weather has been great. I've been traveling all week with Jerry (fslshooter) and we put about 700 miles on in the week shooting a GCL game at noon and then an FSL game at night. C&C always welcomed and appreciated. EXIF is embedded.

On the left is Jerry (fslshooter) and then "Front Row Joe", he's seen 920 consecutive Daytona Cubs home games and then Cubbie and myself.

Well, looking at the EXIF, the 400 2.8.

The one he's showing off in the last pic ;)

Nice, glad the weather cooperated - I know Jerry said there had been a lot of rain lately. It's been good here to, you'll be flyin in and I'll be ready to fly out.

Excellent as always, Chris. My only suggestion would be to crop out the tired old guy on the left in the last pic ;). I enjoyed your visit and glad we could hit s few of the ballparks where I shoot all summer. I'm afraid it wasn't my last baseball shooting trip this year though -- still two more month to go. Hope you had a good trip back home and got some sleep on the plane.

Jerry ~ Baseball is a game where only defensive players handle the ball and offensive players who hit successfully in only one third of their at bats are among the best in the sport.

If you use windows, look up the Opanda browser.

Hey Jerry - I made it back, but no sleep on the plane. I sorted pictures instead.

What dedication! Nice series, Chris.

BTW, I didn't make it out to Wrigley today. Have had my keester kicked by some sort of stomach flu, and since Janes was there, I knew things were well under control. I watched some of the game on ESPNU after the Cubs game. It looked like an afternoon from the 70's with almost nobody in the stands...

The crowd was ok, not packed but bodies spreadout throughout. It was more packed on the first base side than not. It was a LONGGGG day Dennis - 9am team photos followed by individual, followed by some BP pics, HR derby, game. All in all 10 or so hours of shooting and driving. Not a huge action filled game in the field and the plays I got were not that spectacular - last year there was some cool ones but this time all the action was on the hitters/pitchers and the basic shots of the fielders....and of course sunburning.
