I recently started processing RAW - I use a first generation (old) Core 2 Duo, DPP with 3MB RAM - it's SLOW.
I've never heard of processor in this machine. It's not Core 2 Duo, and 1.6 is slower then mine so it will be SLOW.

i view my raw files now on a slower machine with irfanview and do light editing too.
this is a $400 laptop with a 9" screen. let's keep a little perspective here

the real question is would you rather have one of these or one of the new $700 epsons?
