Anybody know if the DVD is available for purchase in the US? I did a Google search but all I found were those sold in the UK.

Like many YouTube videos, the snippets you see are just that..snippets. They are used as teasers for full length DVD's.

You've got to have some working space in your studio to accommodate a 74" octa. I'm seriously considering the 53" Midi Octa or the Photek 52" Illuminata II.

Hahaha yeah true that.

That's a hard choice, I dunno about the Illuminata II but the great advantage of the midi octa is the ease of folding and unfolding it has :) plus the super neutral response of the diffuser fabric is worth the price :D

Hi Eduardo,

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "the super neutral response of the diffuser fabric"?

Doesn't it! I've always wanted one but didn't want to spend the money. After watching these videos, I thought: "Well, it's only a thousand bucks or so, it's quite a good deal...". Could get dangerous, watching these... :)

Can't tell you much about the Photek, but I love my 53" Octa Midi! I'd go with the Octa Midi if you're going to be using the BX400's - they go well together. There's something to be said for a modifier that is designed with the manufacturer's strobes in mind...
