Hey everyone,

I've always wanted a BMW, and I finally bit the bullet and bought a 525i. Pretty pumped about it.

I was thinking about setting up a 2 light setup (when i get my 2nd light and stand/umbrella). Any pointers on lighting?

Thanks!

Find an awesome location, get your second flash and experiment.

Here is a Car Strobist flickr group, it might be worth checking out.

And here is a Strobist post about lighting the interior.

Black cars aren't friendly to direct strobes.

I found this location & took these in about 10 minutes & I think the fast results look better than most black car strobist shots I've seen here:

Tip: Black is reflective, illuminate the surroundings, not the car.

P.S. Umbrellas will give you horrible reflections.
