Just ordered 430EX... Any other advice or accessorys?

Well I just put in my order for the 430EX and Stofen Omni bounce. Ive already got a 15min charger aswell as car adapter and 8 batterys.


Was there any other accessories that you guys could reccomend? Im not sure about jumping into the whole strobist thing right now as my main plan for the flash is for my sister in laws wedding in a few months. I wont be the official photog.


Ive got both scott kelby digital photography books (v1 v2) which touch down on flash some. Are there any other books that are reccomended for flash use? Mostly single on camera flash.

Thanks, but Ive read those stickies and wont be able to make heads or tells of them untill my new flash arrives since all Ive had to this point is popup flash.

Flash diffuser sounds like a good accessory.

I use the Lumiquest diffusor, Bogen bracket with HAMA accessory shoe and Canon OC-E3 extension cord - get that flash off the camera for better illumination.
