I hope this is the right forum to post this in. It seems to be the best fit.
I went on a whale watch this past Thurs with my mother and my aunt and we all took a ton of photos. I decided I'd burn all of our photos onto one DVD (since the DVD can hold a LOT more than a normal CD) for everyone so we'll all have each other's photos. Using DVDs for photo storage works perfectly fine on my computer, but my mother's computer won't even recognize that a DVD was put in. If I put in a CD with photos on it, it works fine.
My parents don't use their computer very often and the one they have is on the older side. Although I don't know how old it is, I know it's a Dell. It was a hand me down from the company that my father works at.
Is it possible that the computer is to old to recognize the DVD format? Is there a setting that I can use to enable this?
