Wake Boarding, 1st time, how did I do?

They had a wake boarding demo at the boat races, I managed to snap a few shots from the bank as they went by. C & C welcomed, let me know how i did. Thanks, Jim

I think you did great, lovely compositions and nice shutter speed to freeze the action. Perhaps a tad of a larger aperture to get the boarders off the background next time?

You have a good point, next time maybe I'll shoot av instead of tv to make sure I have a larger aperture. Thanks for the comments.

I had the camera set on center-weighted average metering. Would I have done better using a different setting? I had a friend of mine helping me out at the drag races and he suggested using this setting at the track and I never changed it.

CWA - good for drag racing, bad for wakeboarding. I shoot 99% in manual, especially when on the water, because it throws of the camera's metering system with the reflected light from the water.

Or just use evaluative and bump the EC as needed. Probably at least 2/3. Use AV and have fun
