ok if i open a memory card in bridge with alot of files (raw & jpeg on a 2.0gb card is about 100) when bridge opens the files, sometimes thumbnails don't come up on the jpegs. i usually just end up using the Windows folders to move the pictures from card to hard drive. but let's say i'm working in bridge, and i want to move a large number of photos to another folder, i lose the thumbnails when doing this too. i've seen in some training videos about labeling photos and moving them to other folders and they move a bunch at a time, but if i move anything more than 20, then some thumbnails go away.
hope i explained myself and the problem ok. any feedback would be great thanks.

I always copy card contents to my harddrive before using bridge. It's just too slow building the thumbnail cache when you run the card direct off of a card reader.

Copy to hard drive before you view the images in bridge, it's faster and apparently more reliable. If thumbnails don't appear clear the cache. There's more info in the ACR FAQ in the RAW forum FAQ thread.
