Well my wifes work (charitable trust) applied to a grant for two cameras, turns out they were given the cameras instead of the cash - two 5D's with 24-105L lenses and 430EX II flashes.

Was over there the other day, no one can figure out how to use them, they say they are two 'technical' to use, almost got them to swap my 40D for one though :D (40D has those 'useful' creative modes and the built in flash, which means it is a 'better' camera  )

Probably would have been better off with lesser models, and more glass for their uses, and any cash left over they can give to me to teach them how to use them!

Sounds like an excellent plan, my 350D is probably a bit better for them though, smaller & all that. I'm a good teacher as well:D

I'm available for instruction at any time, do you think they want my kit lens as well? much easier to handle than that big heavy lens they have:rolleyes:

I'm quite prepared to do the swop & a bit of instruction free of charge seeing it's a charity & all:oops:

I agree, I could also utilize my generosity by advertising the fact that I have assisted the charity with this delemma.
Could be beneficial (to the business:oops:)
