What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

I think I could make one rather elaborate as well, if I'm allowed eight months for the job...

Lets face it, it is an outstanding piece of Hardware, that you pay for, and get the best on the market atm,,,, as the review states, in a years time, lets see how it stands out then, Me personally thinks it will still be the best, but a lot will be buy something like the D700 (and hopefully the 5D upgrade) for a lot lot less, and be over the moon, I think the price will drop on the 1DS MK3 as well :)

Photographic Images on Brett Butler (external link) px500 (external link) & Flickr (external link) Some Canon Bodies , few blackish lenses, A dam heavy black one, couple dirty white ones, a 3 legged walking stick, a mono walking stick, and a bag full of rubbish

The AF is no better or worse than the MKIII, which means great in some situations and less great in others. Depends on the type shooting one does.

While DPReview writes great reviews, once you own a camera they review you'll find many things they leave out. That's why I prefer reviews from experienced users instead.

I got one last Monday. Haven't shot too much with it yet, but I'm sure I'll be expressing my opinions on it soon. :) My initial impressions are quite favorable, but I need to put the camera through all its paces, including in the studio and more use in the field before I say too much.
