Well, I'm sorry. I tried to pick a subject on which everyone would just have at least 1 stock image, but we got too few entries. Maybe everyone was at an amusement park rather than taking pictures of them.

Ordinarily this would make my job easier, but in this case there are 2 standout images by BBoi and urcunina. (bobj1 your image was not qualified as it was the wrong size, not titled and did not list the camera - see my personal messages).

BBoi your image is technically the best with a miniature in front and real sized background good job on perspective and capture of the sky. Don't know if you did any real post-processing but it was done well if you did.

urcunina your image is fantastic with the ride in the background and the expectant look on the childs face. I love the expression and what feeling it conveys

I wish there were 2 first places but there aren't so being a sucker for images of little children, specially when they capture an unspoken thought, I think we should let urcunina work this week and try to come up with a better subject than me.

1st Urcunina - Waiting for something to happen.
2nd BBoi - Legoland Windsor.

Urcunina its up to you

Thank you Paul. this is a tricky business we have trying to get a challenge subject that works and then we only learn it does after the fact.

I've got a new subject that I'll post tomorrow...

Yup, post process is an easy one, I add HDR to the existing image using MD 20/20 as my start point. I've always found the A640 a little 'soft' anyway, so just a hint of sharpening on objects in the foreground to bring the detail out a little is all.

Happy with 2nd place since I did the one the previous week, its only fair. Looking forward to an interesting new challenge :) Thanks for the positive comments on my pic.

I would have to agree. I very much liked the feeling of the photo. So much of the photo is the ride but you just can't help your eyes moving to the girl.
