A few days ago, I came across a Polaroid 660 SE at an estate sale. I purchased the camera figuring I could mess around with it...however, later I was shocked to see the price of the film that this camera used: http://www.amazon.com …ics&qid=1219125895&sr=8-2 (external link)

My question is, does any one know any info/or where I can find info on this particular camera? I have found some general info on the 660, but not much on this particular model, the 660 SE.

Also, where is the cheapest place to buy 600 film, and do I have to use this form of instant film?

Thanks, and here's a pic of the camera:

What kind of film does that take? I presume it is Polaroid type 600 film

Type 600 cameras (integral film, develops automatically, 3.1 x 3.1 inch)
Type 600, ISO 640 (consumer cameras)
Type 779, ISO 640 (professional color, high definition)

Polaroid announced at the beginning of the year that it was getting out of the instant film business, and Fuji does not make instant film in the Type 600 format. You can still find Type 600 film, just Google 'Type 600'
