What aperture would you use when youre shooting people somewhere like the grand canyon?
Usually i use my 50mm f/1.8 and just open up that aperture for portraits...
But i was thinking... when you do that, you cant even tell the grand canyon is in the background.
What would you guys do? Use a small aperture, and get all of the background? Maybe step back and do a portrait thats not just chest-to-head, but more full body shot? Or maybe an aperture in between like f/8 or something?
