Hey.

I'm at a predicament here.

I want to do portraiture. I love shooting beautiful people. :)

After my past purchase, I can't really afford anything right now. I'm thinking there are 3 paths to go...

1. Head over to home depot and get some work/flood lights. Buy old music stands and fab my own reflector/softboxen.

2. Buy a dedicated flash like the 420EX or 500DG Super.

3. Save up for Alien Bees' Beginner Bee

Till then... I'm using lighting that's available. That means, shooting wide open. I'm afraid of the softness @ f/1.8-3.5


Too much gear...
take nothing but pictures .... kill nothing but time .... leave nothing but footprints
