My wife just gave me a green light to purchase the 70-200mm F/2.8 IS ... so I went online imminently and found one on Kijiji.

I'm toooooo excited and had to share with you.... I'll be picking it up tomorrow. $1700 Canadian (tax in)... does it sound like a good deal?

$1700 used from an unknown buyer on kijiji doesn't sound the greatest...

You can buy with confidence from this member right here on the forum, https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=548501 this way you know what you're getting and that you're dealing with a reputable fella, I'll vouch!

BTW - it is an awesome lens, one of my workhorses. Enjoy!

If that's new from a retail store with tax included, that's a pretty good deal.

If you are too excited, take some Tylenol PM and see the lens in the morning :)

Tax is included in the $1700.
It's brand new in a box, with a receipt, 1 year warranty and 24 hr replacement guarantee (in case i find something wrong with the lens).

The guy that is selling the lens only carries Canon bodies and this particular lens and flashers. (580 EX II for $480-?)
