Maybe I don't understand fishing or boats, but why would you need 1050HP on a fishing boat?

Its a "Big Boy Toy" thing. That 36 foot boat will run a little over 60mph.
Most of the time the guys that fish the tournaments will run long distances to fish a special area. The faster the boat, the more fishing time you have.
This tournament payed 25,000 for first place...............

The boat is beautiful!

Hrmmm....... not sure if I'm impressed or not..... I'd be upset with the complete loss of the very useful back deck...

Plus for what it cost to put them on I would have just bought a nicer boat to start with, maybe a nice tournament boat or something....

just my 2c

Dang, I didn't know it was so soon, my buddy usually tells me about. Might try to make it in on Sunday if I can find out any more info on it. I'm not fishing. Wouldn't mind the photos though.
