Did some portraits of the family the other day. Done in the garden in the (cloudy and dim!) evening using an off camera speedlite on a tripod to one side and someone hand holding a gold reflector to catch some of the flash on the other.
I had a bit of problem with lack of sharpness on some (see thread in Help section) - I think caused by a combination of large aperture and slowish shutter speed (me being too keen to stick to 100 iso!)

Anyway - here's a sample after a little PS - was pleased with this one as I've mainly done landscape before - not much experience of portraits...

C and C?

I really like this photo! Well done!
It always helps when people post their own lighting techniques too - thanks. I always find garden portraits to have that cool blue tint to them (mostly easily fixed in PS) and you did a great job of avoiding that :)
