After looking at so many of the great shots posted here on POTN, I've been digging into CS3 more and working on post processing a bit. Here's one of my first portraits. Let me know what you think...

I wasn't 100% happy with the light... I think I needed a reflector to put a little more on her right side of the face. Or maybe I should've used fill flash?

Thanks in advance...

Original, then PP'ed...

I think you toned down the ageing wrinkles extremely well, I'm sure she would be very pleased with the result- very natural looking!

You really DON'T need more light, you nailed it. Any more and it would have come out flat looking.

She has magnificent eyes, very pretty lady!

Excellent job. Some people take smoothing too far. You did a great job and still maintained detail. Well done:)

The light is great. Any more fill and you would have ended up with some pretty flat lighting. I really, really think you got the light.

As for the PP - my opinion (one not shared by most) is that the PP is just a touch over-done, but I like and appreciate the beauty that comes with age and experience.
