Hello I was wondering if theres any tips on how to photograph babies?

Very young babies often have mottled skin...converting to black and white is one solution to this problem.
Keep bright lights four feet away.
Stay with neutral colors for blanket or background.
Get mom to relax....then photograph baby.

Should I use bouce flash? Or will this be the same as keep light four feet away??
