Here is a tip on how to remove greasy marks and finger prints from your LCD screen... Just lay a piece of normal clear sellotape over it rub gently and remove, hey presto gone. Leaves no mark on screen and is very safe. Wipe with a soft cloth afterwards if you wish.
Hope some find this tip useful. :D

I'm sure that works, but it does seem like unnecessary trouble. That's just a hard plastic protective cover, easily cleaned with whatever is at hand—I wouldn't use anything that would leak into the camera, though.

I use a microfiber cloth if one is handy, or a clean hanky I always put in my pocket when I got out shooting.

I use the underside of my forearm if I'm busy, T-shirt or shirt if I have the time to care.

This is a good tip if you are naked and carrying sellotape!

Well you can't please everybody. I was actually shown this in my local camera shop and it worked really well no marks at all and he finished off using a microfibre to buff it up. Just thought it was a good tip to pass on, i guess not.

I use my tongue thoroughly.

Just kidding, I have a microfibre cloth set aside for the LCD.

And one for lenses.

I never used to get too concerned about a few fingerprints or nose prints - but I didn't realize that the light passed through the LCD screen protector on its way to the sensor.;)
