I need someone else to take a look at this. I think the colors are off but than I can't get them right either.

You can saturate the feeder, but I really don't think the feeder is the subject and over-saturating it would make it to competitive with the bird. A year from now you will not remember the real colors accurately, anyway. Midnitejam--The happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Aug 21, 2008 13:32 | #3 Not sure what are the right colors. I think the image is just slightly warm. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Just my take but its a great shot. Maybe next time, get the bird to hold a grey card for the wb. ![]()

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Is this what you mean? I selected the hummingbird and then adjusted hue and saturation on the yellows... actually, I only adjusted the slider on the saturation... you can make him a blue hummingbird if you wanted by changing the hue. Not knowing what its color should be, I probably exaggerated the color a little.:p Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I thought I tried moving the blue but I guess not, or after the 20th different image, you lose were you wanted to go. Gear List * www.tranquilphotos.com

I think the colors are off but than I can't get them right either. I appears that there is a slight magenta cast so I did some global changes in ACR by adjusting the WB and then tweaking the color saturation and luminance sliders. By using layers and isolating the hummingbird, it could have also been tweaked separately to give it more color. Atmospheric haze in images?
