Does anybodys Camera mount seem not tight.

When mounting almost any lens to my 20D it rotates a little like its not perfectly snug. It is a very small rotation but it seems like it could affect the focusing of images? It rotates maybe a millimeter. I mainly ask because photos from my 70-200mm 2.8 Non IS + the canon 2X TC seem sharper than the photos without the 2X TC.

This happens when the locking pin gets worn. But the lens rotates in the same plane, so it doesn't affect focusing.

The last few Canon bodies, I have owned all have had some movement, more than I wish for tbh, funny I recently dug out my EOS 5 and that mount is tighter on the same lenses that I use on my D SLR

I've got a little slip in mine also, 40D to 70-200L.

Mine also slips, some lenses more than others. Some movement is quite normal.

Mine too but my others are snug. The 70-200 f/4L was loose even on my 30D.

Some of my lenses slip a little, other don't, but it doesn't affect focus.

I posted the same question when I got my 100-400L and 40d. Both new and it slipped about the same as yours. I've gotten use to it and it caused no problems at all.
