I don't shoot landscape shots near as often as I'd like to, but I manage to sneak a few in here and there. Here's some I've taken over the last year and liked. C&C are always welcome and appreciated!

1. Taken with 16-35mm 2.8L handheld, 1/6th shutter speed.

3. Little Rock, AR skyline. Taken with 24mm 1.4L

4. Taken in Thousand Islands, Canada. Shot with Canon 15mm 2.8.

I think that 24 1.4 is an amazing lens. That havasu Falls shot is absolutely stunning.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I love that lens. My brother and I hiked 12 miles to the Havasupi Tribe's campgrounds and I hauled a 7-8 lbs. tripod, which liked to have KILLED me with the extra weight. But this shot I suppose made it worth it. Never again though, never again.

You got some great shots here! I really like the 1st one since ya mentioned it was handheld. Nice work!

Well, due to the recent burst dam and subsequent floods, you probably won't have to worry about it for the next (they are saying maybe) 2 to 4 years. :(

These are all over the top beautiful. I have driven Rt. 66 many times when it was the only way, and I'm glad to see they are keeping it alive. It was a great ride. :)

Beautiful shots, David. Seems like that 24L is in good hands. What kind of post-processing (I presume it's PP) did you do to get those awesome skies? Thanks for sharing!

Agreed, great shots! I just love the color and perspective on the second shot.

Hmmmm, maybe I'm just being grumpy, but I'm certainly not seeing what others are seeing. #1 is my favoriete here, #2 is oversaturated, #3 is fine, but I'm sick of night building reflections in the water, #4 I don't like the fisheye effect, #5 is overexposed, #6 is too centered and boring.

Hope this is useful.

Everyone is judgemental in different ways, but I have to assert that you're definitely being a little too critical here. Or grumpy - whichever way you want to put it.

That raises the question, what motivates such a critical attitude? Perhaps your HDRs are much better. If that's the case, I'd like to check them out, because I personally felt David's offerings were already superb.
