I agree with David....annotate early and often or it just piles up and it seems like an overwhelming task. I had no computer during my trip, so I have to do all at once... Any chance the files got set to read-only somehow? Do you have an external drive you could move a file to and see if you can edit things there? Post a file someplace and see if someone else can edit it? I've had my share of screwy problems, but that would be a new one. -David

Deals like that happen sometimes. If I hear of another, I'll let you know. Mooo all. Have a super day. yeah, we always seem to think of things too little too late belmondo wrote in post #6231689 This is probably my most frustrating photographic experience. This goes right up there with losing the tripod with the Wimberly head on it. I'm not sure where the problem is.....it's either lens or body, but I intend to find out this morning. Whichever it is, it will go into Canon today. I'm going back to the same place on the 13th, and that's the camera/lens I planned on using most. When you feel you've been slighted, perception is reality. Of course that swings both ways; it's almost as unfair to the people who mean no harm, but are accused of committing deliberate snubs. Clearly there are times when people who know us---make that people who know us well---are confused by our behavior. That happened to me a couple days ago when Chris and Lisa were pretending to be upset with each other. Hell, I feel I know them both reasonably well, and I was fooled. Anyway, as I said last night, this issue is definitely on the back burner. I have camera problems. (joke------really) Yes, I can see how Chris and my sparring could come across to people who don't know us. Now. Then I figured they'd see it clearly for what it was. But no worries...we'll keep our abuses to pm's now. neil_r wrote in post #6232611 PS I am only over here cos I didn't want Tom thinking I was non-technical and just flapping my digital gums ![]() ![]() LOL!!
