don't frown at me mister!

what's up now?

The estimated ship date on my laptop has moved from 09/02 to 09/16 :evil:

Good morning, folks. Just thought I pop in and say "hi." I'm working from home today waiting to see if my daughter is in real labor or false labor....I hope it's real because I really need a grandson to balance out all the girls around here. :)

What will you do with a grandson? You have nothing but pictures of you surrounded by females....the poor boy will never get photographed!

Love the second shot! You might want to warn the Cap'n before he sees that one. He's much happier closer to the ground or water than at altitude. ;)

The wife warned me not to jump too ;)

Harm, your pano does not suck, and the downward shot made me dizzy, lol.

Thanks....the more I stare at it, the more I want to dive down it...

Harm- Love the into-the-falls shot. It makes me catch my breath.

Thanks Wu....I have some "bog-standard" shots too that everyone has to take:

Harm I don't know what I happened. I had your waterfall shots on my quote thing but obviously it didn't come up. If you could fix the sky in the pano, it'd be lovely. And the other shot over the edge! WOW!

(love the new ones you posted too)

Nice waterfalls Harm....I think the sky in the pano can be fixed...then you might want to print that one for hanging.

Don't do it! Once you've used it for 30 days, you'll give up eating so that you can use your grocery money to buy it. It's a trap I tell you. A trap.

So did you give up trying to fix your old windows laptop? I didn't know you had ordered a new one.

HARM! Those shots are breathtaking.

You plug your laptop into the docking station and it simulates it being a desktop with an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other assorted ports of contact.

Though, after following his link, it looks like that one primarily provides additional expansion ports (USB, Firewire, Printer, etc.). There are different types, and his looks like the minimalist type.

Docking stations are most commonly used as a bridge...you connect a regular monitor, keyboard and associated peripheral devices to the docking station and plug your laptop in to the dock for home use. It essentially makes your laptop a desktop computer.
