Anything is worth a try.

I have lunch dishes to do first.

I have Hilda to do the dishes...good little investment! ;)

Harm I don't know what I happened. I had your waterfall shots on my quote thing but obviously it didn't come up. If you could fix the sky in the pano, it'd be lovely. And the other shot over the edge! WOW!

(love the new ones you posted too)

Thanks Permie....it means quite a bit considering all the shots you've all put up yourselves too, so it means I am not THAT bad and am slowly improving. Otherwise I'd have just taken a "normal" shot and said "that looks good" but it would have been the same as every tom, dick & harry's shot. So thanks. Oh yeah, and I do love how the 2nd shot came out...

Nice waterfalls Harm....I think the sky in the pano can be fixed...then you might want to print that one for hanging.

Yeah, I'll spend a little time to get all the colours to match and see how it comes out....It'll be a while because I have no idea how to match them up yet...

cfpackerfan wrote in post #6233541 (external link)
HARM! Those shots are breathtaking.

Thanks dear!

Oh and Permie, I use a docking station everyday at work. Basically my power, monitor, mouse and external keyboard are attached to the station. You just place the laptop on the docking station and underneath a laptop there are some metal elements that match up with the dockign station, and you're all set.

And at any time (like when I go to a meeting), i press the "release" button and the laptop is free to go with me anywhere, without cables all attached to it....pretty cool and saves so much time each day plugging and unplugging cables. The spares I keep in my bag to take home or to meetings etc.

Yes! Colby's room is done, with the exception of a few wall decorations (pictures and shelves). Of course, now there are some additional items on the list.

So...essentially what you are saying is that you are about 18 years from completion.

Something like that.

The new items on the list are for other parts of the house. ;)

No, the real reality check comes when you are in Livingstone, Zambia (a relatively rich city in a relatively rich country) and people want to trade 6 bananas (worth less than 1$) for a wooden carved animal... And then you cross to Zimbabwe and it is even worse!

First kind of antelope I'll post (I saw about 15 different ones)... The shot was difficult as it was already late (1600 ISO, 1/125)

A Steenbok.

You could really go naked out of every market. People wanted to trade you hat, shoes, shirt, socks, ....
