no habla gato

I can do this all day :D

Well, I have been asked why I am learning Spanish. My first answer, it is a core requirement of the university, I can't use that anymore since I have finished those and am still doing it.

Before I make it to the second answer, I am told, why? all you you need to know is bathroom and more beer, (bano y cerveza respectfully).

Very cute! :D

When Brady (our oldest) was around 18 months or so, he got his arm out through the rails in his crib during naptime and got it stuck. The first we knew of any problem was when he started hollering "stuck, stuck, stuck!!!" He didn't think it was very funny, and at the time we didn't either, but we laugh about it now. We didn't even know that word was in his vocabulary until that moment.

Thanks David. It is amazing what they will say when they need to huh?

For those of you who know about my brother, it turns out he did not have a heart attack. His liver is enlarged and he does have some heart damage but it's minimal (on the heart thing) the liver damage is more extensive but can correct itself if he'll stop drinking (it's all drink related sadly). But if he stops drinking, he's not in a life threatening position...if he doesn't....so thanks for the thoughts and prayers :)

Sorry to hear about your brother Permie. My wife's family has a few members that should have liver problems, but oddly they don't.

LOVED fire school.

yepyepyep, fought a galley fire (which was more than a little controlled, but still good experience, none-the-less).

The next day was all plugging and patching... it was kind of awesome!

Creo que necesitas algas cervezas :-D

The two most important Spanish words are cerveza and baño... I managed to survive a decade of travel in Mexico and Costa Rica with those two words.

I'm so used to parents who are not aware of the issues..... and can't make informed decisions..... The hazards of working with high risk/low income/under educated families...

I much prefered the hard rails because at least for the SIDS risk period they weren't as mobile in the crib.....

With Haley we used a "pillow" for lack of a better term, that had sides to keep her from moving around in the crib. It also helped prop her up during naps so that she could lay on her side (avoid the flat head). We plan to use that again. Keeps the little ones from moving around much.
