You know where there is an operational F series lashup? I have heard tell of one in Colorado...that is the only one I know of. I so want to see a working ABBA in action. (No....not the Swedish variety! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh)

Not specifically, but I've seen recent photos on RailPictures.net that show operating F series locomotives. They're either working local freight or are pulling excursion or museum trains.

Up to earlier this year, at least MARC had one running on the commuter lines (mostly Camden Line to Baltimore, I think) out of Union Station, DC. Once or twice they put it on the Brunswick Line (maintenance, I guess) and I got to ride behind it to or from work. Haven't seen it lately; maybe they've retired it in favor of the GPs. Wikipedia (external link) says it was unpowered; I thought I saw it as the only loco on the trains.

Maybe he really didn't get the Traeger ... maybe he was just fooling us all year that he bought one... hmm.... ;)

I can assure you that I got it. Eggplant roasted on the traeger, topped with marinara and 4 cheeses on Saturday. Chicken on Sunday. MMMMMMMMM....
