thanks Mike. I hope that the mom sees the shot...I'd love it if I were her mom.

It hasn't happened yet.

I booked one for tomorrow and have another one pending.

Today where 2 of the moms work a Noinker found out how I was charging (basic session charge + ala carte print purchase). He made the comment, "It's guys like that that kill the rest of us." Huh? I guess he got the smackdown by a couple of people who like my work. :)

Kind of smacks of some of the primadonna wedding photogs you hear about. It never occurred to me that someone would think of me in that light. Uh, 350,000 people in this county. I think there are enough seniors to go around!

Just turned the game on. I didn't even recognize the Steelers. When did they get the ugly uniforms?

If the noiniker produced great photos, he would get all the work he wanted regardless of what anybody else charged. Your work is excellent and you are entitled to charge whatever you want.:D

Always tickles me when someone panics about a little competition. If your work is on par, you have nothing to fear.

So Chris, since you are ruining it "for everybody else" does that make you Jefe Meany Head?

oh and right now (did you guys see the Jets game...man those were horrid jerseys) some of the teams are doing retro...but I haven't been able to figure out why.

in a way that's not true...if two people produced similar work, I'd go with the less expensive.

However in this market, too many photographers forget that their service falls under discretionary funds. It's not necc. Uncle Bob may not be able to produce a good photo...but he may...so they need to charge for the current market.
