I considered it, Chief, but they weren't clear whether it would work with your existing tripod arsenal, and I didn't want to go any further down that road. ;) The thought of leaving that one somewhere in the desert was just too much to bear. ;):lol:

I suggested that we buy the lens for the members of POTN...everyone kicks in a buck...which would buy the lens and the Hummer transport vehicle. We could draw straws to see what order people get to use it in. Canon will even change the mount to EF.;)
