Did you take time to get a few shots of the fog in the fields?

Nope - I had to be in Corvallis at a certain time and I couldn't stop...

poppie guy wrote in post #6417162 (external link)
Didier, all of your Africa posts make me want to go there someday.

Same here... but all the shots, and the bugs, and the snakes, etc... oh, and the cost... kinda won't happen...

I sent her a message earlier...for that very reason...she is alive and kicking...working....all that good stuff.

I'm alive. That's all I can guarantee. and I won't profess to being too happy about any of it right now. :)

Be well, all.

But you are busy working? That is good, right?

Some of the members ot the San Diego club have been playing around with a new processing software called Topaz Adjust. (external link) Although I'm not a big fan of obviously heavily processed images, I thought I'd give the 30-day trial a try.

Here's a quick treatment of one of my locomotive images using one of the built-in presets in the program.

Both look cool, but the processed one looks really cool...

Mooo all, back from Corvallis... 8:30am-6:30pm... not to mention the 2 hours of driving this morning and evening... LONG DAY.... But hey... money!

Yup! I'll post some more in a bit.

I just did another senior shoot tonight. It was very brief. The kid just wanted a couple of basic shots. He had 2 sessions with another photographer and didn't get anything usable. He was really frustrated and just wanted a shot for the yearbook. It was quick and easy.

Mike...photography is much or as little as someone wants it to be...anymore.

It's like in the old days when scientists thought you could study something without changing it...it wasn't true and they discovered that...and when photographers said "sooc" but really they did a lot in the darkroom...it wasn't EXACTLY what the eye saw...it was interpreted in the darkroom...now things have just expanded to broader interpretations and visual stimulations if one wants to go there.

Moo, Chris!

John, I like the processing on that one, too. Almost HDR.

It was a one-click preset in Topaz... Nothing special about it.

mostly they only like "real" over there, although I did do an HDR car show thread a year or so ago and they seemed to like it okey.
