I know. it's not soft :p

anyway it's the rays I like and I think it's a great contrast in the photo.

you better watch out. I might start liking some of your other photos.

haha :) as you know I call it like I see it.

if they are good, regardless of who shots it, then I will comment. if I don't comment it normally means that it's average.

anyway this is how I see the first photo.

I hope this posts right....

WOW that's stunning!!! Just love the colour tones in this. Gonna look fantastic hanging.

Evening all. Why is it ever time we have a good thunder storm here I'm too scared of driving my car up to a local lookout because of the chance of hail damage? We just had a doosey of a storm blow through and we only caught the edge. No hail in this one though, about a 1/4 of the storm we get will have some hail in them, though in only a few of these will it be bigger than pea size. It's the golf ball size stuff that does the damage.

hehehe, YOU could walk up the hill in question from your place.

I really must do it some time. Nigel keeps saying pick him up on the way through. The second storm cell is is about to hit my place from the look at the radar, but there is not much in it.

For those in the US, I live near the Sunnybank dot and Feng lives near the Mt Gravatt dot. The loops page on the weather radar show the path of the storm. They always go from South West to North East and Mount Gravatt offers a nice vantage point for the storms.

I'm almost out of coffee ATM. Another trip to Campos is in order. A friend is just setting up a business here to import coffee from Zim. He's actually still got a real coffee plantation there, but, and this is the big but, no fuel, electricity, or anything to make the farm work any more.

anyway this is how I see the first photo.

Too much off the bottom. Crop it midway between the bottom and the beginning of the brighter water FTW.

you know you're right. Maybe an inch off the bottom would really add to it dynamically.

and Wool, those shots look even better on my desktop screen...I think I agree with the others, they may be my favorites from you ever.

oh and G'mooo
