Thanks!

I ran them down to the printer...and of course their printer is acting up....not a very good testimonial for the Epson R-9880. They printed better on my cheap HP. They have a technician coming in to see what is wrong with it.

Drive through mooooooooooo. Wedding anniversary today. A happy marriage is one of the great things in life.

Congrats :) How many years is that mate? Happy marriages are so far and few between these days that seeing reports of happy ones creates a warm fuzzy feeling all over.

I know the rules say we are supposed to be nice to people here and that goes even more for the moderators, but there is no way I would have anwered this question...

Nobody said you have to. We just say you can't tell anyone to RTFM or do a search as the sum total of the answer. But you'd never do that, so it's cool.

wise words...

it is a shame when the person just blatently doesn't read the manual or check though... but some people geuninely can't figure out what the function is, so don't know where to start looking in the manual/web/search etc.

if someone is seriously distressed, I'll answer a question that they should have known by reading the manual but if they say "I don't feel like looking it up, I just leave the thread...I figure if they don't value my time as much as their own, then I don't need to reciprocate.

yeah that's true too. frustrating sometimes that people just don't want to help themselves... whether it's laziness or pure ignorance or what

I just got a 40D and I can't figure out what the little button with a picture of a printer and a squiggly line next to it means. Does it mean I can print pictures straight out of the camera? If so, where do I load the paper in? I get bored reading manuals so please help me. Thanks!

In all seriousness, I got busy with classes and when I come back to the thread what do I find? About 20 pages to read through. All I ask for at the end of the day is a nice, warm, home-cooked meal. What do I get instead? Pages and pages of amazing photos and witty banter. What is the world coming to?

Thanks, we've been good friends for fourteen years, we were married 6 years ago, and we've always enjoyed sharing our time with each other.

I'm loving the Tokina so far. The f/2.8 is handy, it's nice and sharp, and focus is spot on. I just tried it out with my new 430EX at a friend's birthday party (small karaoke room) and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm glad I got a good copy straight out of the box. I always get paranoid with buying new lenses with all the QC issues people seem to constantly be having.

Glad to see you. Keeping up with this thread is doable.. I've given up on trying to read all the posts on tpbm.. it moves along at a really quick pace.
