All recommendations are welcome. :)

As long as it can contain a 5D mounted with 70-200 f/2.8 IS with hood reverse mounted, 24-70L with hood reverse mounted and 85mm/1.8.

Small or large size does not matter as long as it can fit them all.

Thank you. :)

Anything in particular you want to use it for?
I've bought about 6 backpacks over the past 2 years and the lowepro minitrekker is without a doubt my favourite. Will easily hold all your stuff and more.
Just depends what you want it for.

I just bought a Kata 467 for $69 and it's a beautiful backpack. I put the 5D with 24-70 attached in the bottom camera compartment with the 85 on the side and then the 70-200 2.8 IS in the top compartment with all the other stuff I need to bring. It's a small backpack but very sturdy.

Any of Kata backpacks is great. I just completed my travel across South Korea for a month with my Kata R-103 (with laptop compartment), and it was just perfect. Kata R-103 is airline compliant for carry-on, so I had all my gears with me.

Great! Thanks guys.
I will look into each one of them.

GWilliams, I need a backpack for an outdoor events.
I will be constantly moving around, so I need my equipments on me at all times.
I prefer a comfortable and easy to access bag or backpack.

For an easy access bag..
Crumpler's 7 million dollar bag looks good from what I have seen.
I know it is not a backpack and it can not contain a 5D w/ 70-200 f/2.8 IS mounted.., but it looks good, and most of all.. I don't have to put the bag on the ground to get my hands on the gears.

For a comfortable bag.. backpacks are preferred. As you can balance the load on both shoulder than one. It is just hassle to access the gears.

I always strongly advise against traveling with your lens attached to the body, but if you must travel that way, check out the Mountainsmith Quantum.

I use the Mountainsmith Parallax (as well as the Tour, Day, Correspondent and Cube) and find their products 'under-known' by photogs and outstanding in performance.

If you click: http://flyingwithfish.blogspot.com/search?q=Mountainsmith+ (external link)

You can see my posts on Mountainsmith, when you get to the bottom click "older" for more posts on Mountainsmith.

Might want to consider a Canon 200EG. I use it along with a gripped 30D I can carry two of my white L's and my 17-40 L or 24-105 L, with lots of extra space, for a flash and other accessories.

I have found the Canon 200EG to come apart at the seems and have serious zipper problems. I had purchased one , used it with two 1D bodies, a small selection of lenses and a 12" PowerBook , with basic accessories. The strap width made it slightly uncomfortable when loaded, but not bad for the intended purpose.

In the end though, after 2 weeks and 8 or 9 flights it really wasn't holding up at all.

Why is this bad? Just curious.

I've been using the 200EG since January '08 without any issues. I usually carry 40D with 70-200 and 40D with 17-55 or a 40D body and lens with 2 580 Flashes. For under $30, this backpack is great.

Most all camera/lens manufacturers will suggest this as well. As a bag is moved around it has 'inward pressure' should you drop your bag, or should your bag sustain impact, you have a high likely hood of damaging both your camera and lens at the mounts. The lens and body can absorb and disperse the pressure better when not connected.

I know many (MANY) photogs who have had gear damaged that would have otherwise been OK because they had a lens attached to a body when a bag was dropped or knocked over hard.

You can also save space and pack more effectively with them separately. I spent well over a decade as a news photographer covering breaking news throughout the United States, and around The World, and I have never been in a situation where I thought "if only I was able to take my backpack off and take out my body attached to the lens I would have captured the moment."

Pack them apart save yourself the repair expense bill. It may not happen today or next month, but bags to get nailed pretty hard sometimes.

Thanks for the detailed response.
