LR2 > Edit in CS3 > What am I doing wrong?

In LR2, when I click Edit in CS3, the Tif opens in CS3 just fine, but it is not automatically added to the library. Is there some option or preference setting that I'm missing? It's supposed to just magically show up in the library, right?

As a side question...I've been importing the edited files back into LR using Import from Disk. This creates a copy of the file. Is there any way to just import the file in the location it is currently in without creating a copy?

Sorry, I'm having a slow day or something...

Go to preferences, add CS3 in as the "external editor" even though it is tied in automatically. Then when you click edit > don't use the top Photoshop option, use the second one in the menu.

There is a bug with that process that affects some people (including me)... using CS3 as the external editor should make it smooth for you. You shouldn't have to re-import the edited files back in.

Thanks, that did the trick. That's weird, it seems like Edit in CS3 (the top one) was working as normal before. I must have just caught the bug...or maybe it just took me this long to notice.
